What Makes Mini Sessions So Popular
Most photographers only offer mini sessions in the fall or spring. And while that’s great for holiday cards or springtime updates, it can feel limiting — especially if your schedule is packed or you forget to book before the season fills up.
At Hi & Hello Studio, I wanted to make things easier for families. That’s why I offer studio minis and outdoor mini sessions year-round. That means twelve months of opportunities to update family photos or capture your kids as they grow. No waiting for fall, no stressing over missed dates — just more chances to make memories.
What Exactly Is a Mini Session?
If you’ve never booked one before, a mini session is a shorter, condensed photoshoot held at a specific time and location. Sessions are usually 10–20 minutes long and scheduled back-to-back, allowing me to photograph multiple families in one day.

Hi & Hello Studio is located in Emeryville, California, right in the East Bay. It’s a natural light studio designed to be colorful, creative, and welcoming for kids and families.
