Big Changes at Hi & Hello Studio (And Why They're So Exciting)
Hi & Hello Studio: My Creative Home
Hi & Hello Studio has been my creative home for the past year and a half—a bright, natural light space where I’ve photographed kids, families, and hosted workshops. It's also been a space I’ve shared with other Bay Area photographers and artists. I’ve loved seeing all the ways this space has been used to create.
One of the best parts of having this space has been opening it up to other creatives. I’ve been inspired over and over again by the work made here, and I’ve loved seeing the studio tagged in photos from photographers I admire and respect.
But… things are changing.
As my own work has grown, I’ve found myself drawn more and more to what’s possible inside this space when I have full creative freedom. I want to experiment more. I want to host creative co-working events and maybe even a gallery show in the space.
So here it is: Hi & Hello Studio is no longer a rental space (with the exception of a few longtime friends who have truly become part of this studio’s story). Moving forward, the studio will be fully dedicated to my own portrait work with families and kids.
And, I’m so excited.
The Studio Isn’t Going Anywhere, It’s Just Getting Better
Closing the doors to rentals isn’t about doing less. It’s about making more space, for creativity, for connection, and for the kinds of sessions I truly love to photograph.
Without a rental schedule to manage, I can curate the studio exactly how I want it. That means more flexibility, more experimentation, and more room to bring fun, vibrant, love-filled portraits to life.
So what does this mean for you?

A Full-Circle Moment
When I first opened Hi & Hello Studio, it was about having a space to make things. After a few years, I’m stepping even more fully into that dream and this time with you at the center of it.
While I’ll miss having other creatives in the studio creating things, I know this shift is going to bring so much new energy into the work I love most: photographing families and kids with heart, color, and creativity.
To stay in the loop on studio happenings, follow along on Instagram (you know I’ll be posting updates there), and keep an eye on your inbox, because dates for kid portraits and family sessions are coming soon.
See you in the studio.
